Actually its not hard to do a cell by cell animation via Photoscape. The only hard part (being the artist) is making the 10-20 cells. It would just all depend on how long and intricate you wanted to make the dance.
I have made a few animated gifs this way from In-game screenshots or video breakdowns.
Photoscape is a very nice programs for photo editing and has a nice little animation feature on it.
That rape face. o.o What made me laugh most in the picture was Pinkie breaking the fourth wall. 'I'm not supposed to be here!' I read that and I literally fell backwards in my chair. Lovely artwork. (And as a side note, Pinkie's flirty face is surprisingly cute. Don't judge.)
bottom-right EDDY GORDO! top middle action pose SUPER-SURPRISE! Bottom-left The running of Lyra THE SEQUEL! Forth-wall breakage detected! Well your oc IS an Earth Pony no? HIDDEN CHARACTER GET! Up,Left,Down,Down,Down,Right,Up,Up,Right,Right,Right LP+Start! Pinkie Pie now pulls out WingsofFox!
ok just wanted to say that part for the heck of it! lol Marvel vs series have always been a source of epic fun for me and my friends xD I remember bringing out my TV to the backyard with my Dreamcast just so we could all have a party at the back when Mom refused to let me have more then 2 guests inside (let alone 5 lol) I was only ever good at Tekken 2 and 3 but failed at Tag for some reason as well that whole system and endless juggles really broke the game for me.
The day Fighting is Magic I TOTALLY want want you to be my first opponent! we must duel man... wish MvC3U was for PC... all my other friends these days that even play fighters don't play ps3 or 360 anymore...
Lawl. I love the first MvC. It was my first childhood fighting game (Tekken 3 came after). After that I went to Guilty Gear and Blazblue. Totally change in game engine hurr.
We will see about Fighting is Magic. Honestly, I have a low learning span on fighting games so it takes me a while before I get used to it (Ironically quite the opposite in Tales series as it is somewhat similar to a fighting game already. And Megaman Zero. Mechanic wise). Pony Kart and Equestria Online.
MvC ah such a classic <3 part 2 on dreamcast really did it justice. can't say the same for 3... least Ultimate fixed some issues. IMO DLC is a companies way to try and deter pirates, yet it's probably why games feel so shallow and less complete these days. Companies need to stop trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to controls in fighting game series (I'm looking at you Namco! and SEGA go back to Arcade Virtual Fighter 3 before the nerfs and horrid console port!)
Blazblue was awesome but only had the continuum shift.
Megamanzero GBA was hardcore x_x THAT series should of been on consoles! Dark Souls... you MUST be a masochist xD next you'll say you play Frontier Saga 3 as a casual training exercise
I'm totally down for some Ponykart heck yeah xD whenever THAT'LL be released lol sure hope it's some time this year and then have new tracks added later on as patches. I can see Fighting is Magic going that route.
And yeah I hear ya on that having to get used to fighters I used to be so good at Soul Calibur 1-3... then suddenly 4 comes out and I can't do a single move or combo that I was able to do in the other games and I got pwned by Lizardman with a ring knock out and a perfect >< my soul wasn't quite burning that day... more like a candle in the wind feel after that match lol; haven't even played 5 yet!
You know a Tales game with FiM crew would be badass if someone could pull off the battle system properly! (that would be the biggest make or break for the game imo)
P.S. I LOVE the Saga series for ps1 and 2 xD but damn if it took me forever just to beat the game with Riki in part one 3 was beautiful but the start on some characters were retarded hard! (as goes with the series trademark; Masochists only! ><) the rewards were justified imo though.
Well. Dark Souls isn't hard at all. It's just that its another basement game and would clearly waste a lot of time grinding. I remember draining my life over basement games (I'm looking at you Disgaea and Skyrim).
I think most games that are capable of combos pretty much fits well with Tales' LMBS. Honestly, it's the best RPG battle system in my opinion.
Also. Continuum Shift Extend made tweaks of characters that gives more balance to the game. Except Ragna... He's borken as buck and being gay. >_>
Equestria Online... I WOULD GO BASEMENT WITH THAT MMO!
